Telefónica Tech and Geprom have deployed the Evidenze Data Space technology platform, a real-world use case that demonstrates the potential of data spaces in the healthcare sector to advance clinical research and accelerate the development of health technologies.

The model is based on one of the founding principles of data spaces: data does not move—it is shared. Each participant in the ecosystem retains its data at the source while making it securely, anonymized, and under shared governance frameworks available to authorized third parties, without ever relinquishing control over its information.

Two AI Use Cases in Oncology

The platform supports two advanced oncology use cases developed with Evidenze:

• Prediction of treatment efficacy and safety: An AI model trained to assess treatment response in patients with previously untreated metastatic pancreatic cancer and predict potential adverse events before the next treatment cycle.
